We haven't been skating with the boy yet this season, so we all laced up our skates and headed to the local rink for public skate. It took the boy a little bit to get back into the swing of things, but once he remembered what he was doing he was off & going.

Since "Frankenstorm" is headed this way, it's been a very wet & rainy weekend, so when we left the arena, we were treated to the site of a brace of ducks hanging around outside. We had to stand outside in the pouring rain watching the ducks.

We then came home to dry off, have something warm to drink, and cuddle in a warm blanket. What better end to a damp day?
